My dog, "Tedy. B", waves his tail as this is announced.. he beat out Leon Gray and Chuck Fairbanks..

Nice selection, however Gray and Fairbanks were worthy candidates..

Yeah I voted for Tedy this year. Even though Fairbanks leaving was due to the Sullivan's, and L Gray was more dominate during his (short) time here, Bruschi was in 5 SB and the heart & soul of multiple championship defenses.

Will be a great induction ceremony this year.

Couldn't be more thrilled. My second favorite Patriot during the Dynasty Era (Brady will always be my favorite). What a playmaker, I'll never forget one of the playoff games against the Colts, he rips the ball out of a running back's hand, and on the sidelines he kept yelling, he ain't got it, I got it, or something to that effect. I also will never forget his pick 6 against the Dolphins, and seeing the Pat's fans throwing snow in the air after the TD. Just so many memories of Bruschi's ints, fumble recoveries and sacks. What a great player. I'm thrilled he's in, not that I had any question he'd make it.

Of course its well deserved, but so were some of the "older" candidates who are going to get forgotten in the mad rush to add deserving guys from the superbowl years like Light, Rodney, Law, etc.

When you think about it its not a horrible problem to have. Could be worse.

As deserving of this honor as any player could be. Tedy Bruschi epitomized the Patriots during their dynasty run. Congratulations to him.

All due respect to the older candidates but there is maybe 2 players in the entire Patriot History more deserving than Bru (and one more when Brady retires). I think Hannah and Tippett then Bru and I might even argue he is more deserving.
