The need for Gonzo is glaring..

I still say it’s the Bills. I just think that’s Vrabel’s way of saying that he is progressing normally with practice.
I think it sounds like he's probably going to play but if we focus on the word ramp up then maybe he plays a smaller number of reps than normal as some sort of a mini preseason game. But once you dress him you inevitably set yourself up where you end up using him more than the plan.

Thank you Gonzo for gracing Patriots fans with your presence on the field (potentially) this Sunday. Please don't over exert yourself. We know how frustrating this has been for the fierce competitor in you.

Yeah once he’s out there…he’s there to stay. It feels like this week is too soon but maybe he’s ready. I guess we’ll find out soon enough.

I'm detecting a little sarcasm.

Gonzalez is great. He is often unavailable. He may be injury prone.

Or soft.

Just sayin.

Pass Yards Allowed
Week 1: 333
Week 2: 297
Week 3: 139

Robert Spillane, who was horrendous in coverage the first two weeks, had an interception.

There's an old adage, “if you want to play better defense... play less defense.” Our offense fumbled the ball 5 times, they gave the Steelers five more opportunities and possessions.

After the defense settled down they didn't allow a TD from the second quarter through almost the entire fourth quarter. The defense can't fix our offensive mistakes.

The bottom line is coverage and tackling improved.... despite no Gonzo, or what I told people last week. Execution has to do with the entire unit improving, it's not just about one player.

If our offense doesn't turn it over five times, the Patriots absolutely blow out the Steelers.
