During training camp, Howard and a staff of 20, had to prepare five meals a day for the hungry players, coaches and trainers.
-----
On game day, Howard and his crew began work at 4 a.m. They not only had to feed the team and staff but also cook the meals for all the people in the 84 special suites that ring Gillette Stadium. About 15 thousand meals in all.
It wasn't until halftime before they could relax and actually watch their well fed Patriots actually play.
-----
Some players had some odd requests. Troy Brown insists on a glass of pickle juice before every game.
"That was his tradition which he'd been doing since college football."
Quarterback, Tom Brady always orders raw almonds and coach Bill Belichick likes his special pretzels.
