is this correct? he was inactive for 14 games, and didnt play in the other 2? for the cardinals? boy, shrewed negotiating on their part to make it ONLY a 6th round pick for a guy who never stepped on the field (for the cardinals?; how bad you gotta be?) what were they gonna give us if he played, a 1?

I believe the only conditions on the deal were that he had to make the season roster. Otherwise it was a seventh.

The reason Gorin is a backup for the Cardinals is because Arizona prefers fat underachievers on their O-line and Gorin is an overachiever. They have moved him to left tackle however, which tells you a little something about their fitness standards down there.

wow BB/SP gotta be thrilled... what kind of contract did gorin sign? id LOVE to see him back for cheap...

Why?............

do you think he sucked? he was good enough to start for us in many (most?) of the games over the last 2-4 years.... you wouldnt want him for cheap? seems like great depth to me.

We've got Kaczur, Light, O'Callaghan and Britt and I wouldn't be surprised to see some sort of move for a left tackle.

I wouldn't say he sucked, but half our line was undrafted free agents then and I think BB was satisfied he'd made a talent upgrade.

In other words, he was going to get cut anyway.

He's more experienced but these young players have a lot more upside.

He's been stashing linemen on the PS too. I really think we've moved on at that position.
