First I have to admit that I'm still unsettled on this years draft and that's a good thing. I usually have settled on one or two guys per pick and watch them go to other teams. This year it could be 5 or six guys.

So here it is my final Patriots mock draft unless I change my mind.

We trade up from #22 to Atlanta for #19. We give Atlanta #53. So we get #19,83, & 149.

#19 Sergio Kindle OLB TX- we could go Odrick, Golden Tate, or Ryan Matthews. But it is Kindle who may not be there at #22.

#44 Tyson Alualu, DE Cal I think we will like what we get from him

#47 Damien Williams, WR USC- a solid #2 receiver or at worse a #3

#83 Brandon Spikes ILB Fla- He gives us a Ted Johnson type ILB that we have been missing. At worse a solid backup and ST's player.

#116 Tony Moeaki- TE Iowa

#149 LaGarrette Blount- RB Ore- I know there is some baggage with him but he did show that he may have seen the light by working his way back on the team instead of quiting school.

#190. Adrian Tracy, OLB, William & Mary - could be a steal

#205 Zoltan Mesko P Mich

#229. Brandon Deaderick- DE Ala

#231 David Gettis- WR Baylor

#248 Tyler Eastman, OG/OT Maine- a fast riser on many draft boards

#249 Scott Sicko TE UNH seen the guy a few times and he could be a good one

#250 Seyi Ayiortutu WR, Fresno St

I think this would be a solid draft. There are several players that we could take in the first half of the draft that would be just as good as the ones that I have chosen.

I like it.
I like it, al-ot.

i like it alot too! especially the Blount pick which i think will be a steal

i also love the Blount pick. I think he is a beast and not that big a thug. He gets a bad rap because he punched (and knocked out) that big corn fed goober that was taunting him.

Kindle is the right choice because they have try to upgrade the pass rush. Tyson Alaulu is better value than taking Odrick in the 1st round. Damion Williams would be a solid choice in the 2nd round as well. And Spikes gives the Pats a player that will do the dirty work while Mayo uses his athleticism.

any mock that has kindle, bount, and spikes, on it i love. good job.

He gets a bad rap because he punches like a kitten (no knockout, despite the sucker punch he threw), ran for a total of -5 yards after shooting his big mouth off, punched several of his teammates, and had to be wrestled off the field after he tried to go into the stands after fans. A pick I'd expect from the Nolan Nawrocki of NE. igsfly:

BOOK IT! I love it also!

The Horror....the Horror..........i like it i like your mock a lot.

Yup ... you're doomed. I like it too. (I'm the guy jonesing for C J Spiller and Golden Tate, who wouldn't throw his shoe at the screen if BB takes Tim Tebow. )

Like I said in the OP , there could several guys taken in the 1st and I'd be OK with it. But Spiller and Tebow are not included in those.

Tebow, I admit, would be an in-BB-we-trust trial of faith, but what's not to like about Spiller? (He's an incredibly talented, well centred, well liked guy. And please don't say he's "only a third-down back". He can run between the tackles. I don't think he gets beyond 12 or 13, though. If he falls to the late teens and we don't snag him, I'm going to weep into my keyboard ...) :cry2:

You could be right. I'm the guy who yelled at the TV screen for them not to draft Kevin Faulk. But I'm also the guy who wanted Brady drafted in the 5th round.

If they do draft him or Matthews in the 1st I hope that they can get a 3rd rounder in a trade for Maroney.

CRAP! Now, this is definitely not happening. I emailed a coworker the same top three picks earlier today..with a question mark on the fourth (either Austen Lane, a tight end, or a trade up/back). I actually brought up the point to him that we might have to trade up for Kindle...Andy, is that you?!?

Well, I guess great minds think alike. If we're right we're immortalized!

I like the trade scenario, especially if Graham is off the board.

I think its plausible that if Graham is on the board at 18, the Pats might try a trade with Pittsburg to get ahead of Atlanta, who according to the mocksters, covet Graham.

With the early middle round picks I'd like to see us take D. Pitta TE and D. T'eo Nesheim OLB/DE.

Watch us draft both... LOL.

I don't know how you couldn't like that draft.

Which means it'll never happen!

Great mock, but I really like this trade.

Atlanta does not have a 2nd rounder and I think they would really like to get one. We don't have a 3rd or 5th and Atlanta has multiples in both rounds.

So it seemed like the perfect match if the right player is there and the Patriots think he'll be taken just before the 22nd.
