In the minds of 13-year-old boys I doubt you're exaggerating even a little. Adult fans see things differently. But I haven't seen or heard any of that so far. The media spin I've gathered is the rough-hewn style of the inexperienced Tebo vs. the sophisticated approach of Hall of Famer Brady, not "good vs. evil."

FWIW, Denver's passer rating against (cumulative passer ratings against their defense) is 4th worst in the league. Yes, below our beloved pass defense. We have a 87.9 passer rating against our defense, theirs is 93.6. Based on passer rating, this will be the second worst pass defense we've faced, behind only Indy.

Football Outsiders has them a little better (and better than ours) but still 22nd out of 32 teams.

Unless I'm missing something, I expect a wide open and very successful passing attack against Denver. They're better against the run - but we don't do that.

No, there is nothing "evil" about the Patriots Empire. It's full of guys who walk the straight and narrow. If you want "evil," refer to the teams in New Jersey or Oakland. As for Denver, what Tebow's got going has nothing to do with God, just his hand-me-down religionism. Your premise is DOA.

But Tune everyone knows God doesn't care about poverty or hunger, he/she/it is much more interested in Denver's position in the NFL standings.

Unfortunately this will be reduced to the Tim Tebow show vs. Patriots, and last time I checked there were about 52 complimentary players needed.

This whole hype, including the inclusion of "Tebowing" in the dictionary is all folly, sooner or later, perhaps this week. there will be a blueprint of how to contain him and he will fade back to the lower end of the pack with the rest of the mediocre quarterbacks.

Running QB's are oft injured, and that will happen soon.. then there will be prayer meetings across the country to save the NFL..

You need to get out of Dorchester more. The cheating tag is firmly attached to our boys south of Hartford and west of Burlington, VT. In my travels throughout the US...here is the usual conversation...."Wish Brady was our QB. Belichick runs a great operation. The only reason the Pats won 3 SBs is because they cheated." Who knows how much thought they put into their Patriots opinions, but the "cheating" word gets mentioned in 80% of the conversations regardless.

1) Tunescribe is a smart guy who DOES get around and he did subsequently write that he knows that's the way the media will portray it - - just that he feels it doesn't reflect reality. So the opener was inaccurate.

2) The remainder is right on. 80% of the rest of the nation is summed up well by your post. It is the label that is on Belichick's Patriots......and it is written in indelible ink.

The only part you missed was the "BRADY RULE - Your QB is a soft-pretty boy" - - heard that all day at Fedex, even before the Fletcher flag.

Throw in the media spin of "Arrogant star in hissy fit with his coach" versus "Humble and pious QB" angle and this week will be epic!
