The difference between Welker and Edelman

Sorry but Welker always disappeared when it mattered

WTF are you talking about?
SB 42 - Welker was 11 for 14 with 103 yards. He was literally the only one on the offense that was moving the chains.
Career playoff with NE:
9 games, 686 yards, 9.9 yard/rec, 77% catch rate, 76.2 y/g, 4TD
Edelman:
12 games, 682 yards, 10 y/r, 68% catch rate, 56.8 y/g, 4TD

So, How the F*CK did Welker 'disappear', but Edelman was clutch? I swear some of you fans rewrite history in your heads just because a player goes to a rival...

If the defense didn't **** their pants in SB 42 or the team didn't open the gate so ****ty in '11 this isn't even a conversation. In fact, if luck played out in the opposite direction (because lets face it, there is some luck involved), we could be looking at the opposite argument: Welker was a part of a 19-0 team, helped win a SB in '11, while Edelman's Pats come up short against SEA when Butler doesn't make the pick. But because of how a handful of plays turn out, it's "Welker sucks! Edelmans the man!"

You guys are pathetic.

Edelman was not a starting WR all those games - misleading

Let's not pretend JE doesn't drop a lot of balls lol

Not in clutch situations tho I suppose
