If you include those only signed to (and released from) the Practice Squad, Jace Billingsley (I know, but he's one I actually had hopes for).

Darren Andrews, apparently. (I have no recollection of this, but Google)

Andrews tore his ACL at UCLA last November. He was signed and then immediately stashed on NFI for the year, so he won’t step on the practice field as a Patriot until next summer.

Who’d I miss?

To say that all these players were "tried" at the WR position is far-fetched.

- Darboh was picked up on waivers and failed his physical.
- Darren Andrews has been on the NFI list since he was signed in Mid-May
- Bernard Reedy was cut at the start of the league year (3/6)
- Chris Lacy (who you missed) was signed as a UDFA, but released in the middle of May.
- Jace Billingsley (also not on your list) was on the teams PS.
