The Board is full of a bunch of whiners

At least when people are whining about those things, they are whining about football.

This board is now dominated by about 75 percent posts griping, whining and moaning about every single little perceived slight in the media.

Heaven forbid someone should say a negative word about the Pats. The anger over the "blueprint" discussion -- a totally legitimate discussion after the last two games -- seemed to prompt 30 different threads.

Endless posts about whether this or that talking head has an agenda is just getting out of hand.

I don't disagree that the way the Patriots have been spun and covered this year is interesting and worthy of discussion. But it's now overtaken the board like that weird moss stuff that grows over evertying down in South Carolina or whatever. Kudzu?

The team is on it's way to it's 13th victory against a good pitt team. the next two weeks could lead to a couple of blowouts for the pats.

all we hear is:

1. defense too old and slow
2. offense too predicatable
3. seymour is not playing at probowl level
4. can't stop the run
5. maroney dances too much
6. Hobbs can't cover

The negativity sucks.

I'm sure we'll see a ton of threads complaining after a victory.

I know. Good thing these folks weren't fans back in the early 90's.

It is incredible how people can complain about a team with a downhill slide to 16-0, and HFA in the playoffs.

But boy, they sure do!!!!!!!!!

it really is starting to get out of hand. I find myself visiting less and less and this should some the BEST DAYS OF OUR FOOTBALL FAN LIVES!! We have an amazing team that is doing things never seen before, yet we want to spend more time complaing about our young RB and our old LB.

Its the Puritan in New Englanders. Its the Pats version of the Red Sox angst.

i think it's coaching specifically the 2ndary coach...when mangini was here he had gay in as a rookie and troy brown at db at one point.

Worse than whining, is being a whiner yourself and then complaining about all the other whiners.........I have no problem with a little whining. Don't you think the coaches look for ways to improve? It would be a boring site if everyone just stated the obvious and posted about what a great QB Brady is and about how great a coach BB is....

Last year people were saying on this site that Brady is washed up and should be benched because Matt is the future of this team. Brady was no longer a great QB and they needed to look in a different direction. I agree that it is sometimes fair comments, but that stuff it just stupid. too many of the fans want to think like BB talks, there always are a million things that need to be done better. Insted, enjoy what might be the best team in NFL history.

Here's the reality, we watch games and then we comment on what we see in those games. Cool huh??
Love this team and so appreciate what they're doing. Even they would tell you they haven't played a perfect game yet.
Now pick up your pompoms and go away and stop worrying about what we are doing.
Your world is perfect and your world is blissful so turn away from this negativity before you beome realistic.....errrr jaded.

The Patriots trolls and complainers seem to think any negative commentary or criticism is the same as whining and attacking. That's wrong. Constructive non-attacking comments are always appreciated, pointless negativity is not, and as has been said earlier, makes coming to this board a lot less fun.

I look at it a different way.

In a football season, even if your team has a great record, there is going to be good and bad with your football team.

You should be able to talk about the good, enjoy it, and have fun with it. You should also be able to discuss the not so good, without be ripped.

I see that as the issue. Ban every comment that is not glowing praise of the team? That is assinine and ******ed IMO.

I guess I need to clarify myself. The thing that gets me the most is the game day thread and it happens every week is that the first quarter is the end of the world when the pats can't go up and down the field easily or stop the run and then once the Pats score or pull away they are unstoppable. Now you can go and probably find something I said and twist it out of context. And to those who do this I say... you got alot of free time on your hands and who do you think you are??? Tom Jackson? Ditka? RJ??

I've never said the lb's are old. I've complimented Maroney on his baby step(no pun intended) on getting positive yardage in the ravens game.

I've always like hobbs and I honestly think the coaching in the secondary is what is hurting. They seemed better when mangini coached(can't wait for the replies on this one), but he plugged in guys and they never missed a step.

I've come to accept that the pats are just gonna throw every game for the rest of the season and it does none of us any good to complain about maroney. the pats just better hope for no snowstorms, hurricanes, or tornadoes.

detroit gave the pats a run for their money in past seasons in the later weeks of the season. chances are the pats will rolls through these next three teams and we can consider this to be peaking. we'll see when they have a true test in their run defense against the jags or chargers.

this season really boils down to the indy rematch.

Manning can't play in the snow as well as Brady. That will be the difference
