The Bill megathread (HC at UNC, girlfriend, etc.)

See what I mean, @sb1 ...? We are haters, we are trolls, we are hyenas..... blah blah blah

It is hilarious how the Belichick Krishnas are getting mad at us like it’s our fault the nation is laughing at him right now. Our only sin was being right all along about the guy.
Case in point:

Wallace's interviews were "negotiations" and framing of answers to the questions he was going to ask. He claims he never blindsided his interview. They always knew what was coming- including his potential follow-up to an answer he deemed squishy
A friend of mine was interviewed on 60 Minutes by Morley Safer many years ago. Back then, the interviewer would question the interviewee with material that had been presented beforehand. There were not any surprises. However, afterwards the interviewer would be filmed asking the same set of questions (interviewee absent) but with different intonations and facial expressions. CBS would then edit the interview and the redone questions to present the best "entertainment."

As with most disasters, that's something that's easy to see in retrospect
In retrospect filling a giant bag with explosively flammable hydrogen gas and then subjecting it to all manner of spark inducing situations is a recipe for disaster but on paper the Hindenburg no doubt looked like an engineering marvel.
Yeah, the Hindenburg had a smoking lounge, believe it or not.

Florio (who I am always side eyeing) brought up a good point.
Belichick in those emails is trying to take credit for the value of the team. Calling himself “the leader of an organization that grew from a $500 [million] franchise to an $8 [billion] organization.”

But then even the most trash franchises like the Commanders ballooned up to 6 billion in value over the same period of time. Then he never mentions Kraft in the book who was directly negotiating tv deals and helping to end strikes which did far more to increase the value of franchises.

Yes the Patriots being as successful as they were definitely moved their ranking in value higher in the horse race, but like 90% of that jump was going to happen no matter what. Bill's trying to act like he is some business miracle maker.

Yep
The Pats are in the top 5 in NFL franchise valuation. It is no coincidence that the top 5 are all in major media market and either own, share ownership or otherwise have financial control over the stadiums they play in. The difference in NFL team valuations is about the difference in revenue streams not their win loss records. It's only a sport to the fans, for everyone else involved it's s business. And in the NFL business is boomin'

Jordon Hudson is an old soul...for someone who's sick of old hole.

Jami Gertz and Gina Gershon are 1 and 1A the hottest Jewish actresses of the 80s.
Both were hot, but I put GG 1. She was hot AF in “Showgirls” in the 90s…

Even as a teenager I always watched 60 Minutes while I did my homework in the 70s and 80s as it was after the 4pm game on CBS.

In its prime was great TV. Morely Safer, Harry Reasoner, Mike, Dan Rather....even Andy Rooney was pretty entertaining.

GG has aged so well. I'm sure theres been a little nip/tuck but she doesn't look like shes had a lot of surgery.

She looks 62 as she should

See....this is where BB is ****ing idiot. I guarantee shed at least go on a date with BB. Instead he beds dominatrix Bunny Lebowski.

Also asking how you and the women who is....

1. In the room right now
2. In the book you are promoting described as your "creative muse"
3. Working in some capacity on your staff

... met each other is some crazy salacious off topic gotcha is ridiculous. He's making it act like they asked "so you are 73, what pills do you take to keep it up with your sugar baby"
Isn’t that the point? They aren’t bringing up the topic to actual find out how they met, it was the first in a line of questioning that no doubt was to ask salacious questions about the gap.
“We aren’t discussing personal relationships on this interview” is what you say at the first question, not the deeper one.
