It's a layup softball question if that's too much for Bill, he shouldn't be talking about her in his book, shouldn't be bringing her in the interview room, shouldn't have her on his staff, and should have not asking questions about her negotiated before hand.

Nobody in non sports media would even care enough to interview him if not for this situation. He's not dumb enough to not realize this.

They don't matter compared to HC rings. Bill is a 6 time champ as HC. Parcells was HC for his other two.

Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law slammed the North Carolina Tar Heels coach’s girlfriend in a comment on Instagram as Julian Edelman defended the 24-year-old woman.

Jen Belichick, the wife of Bill’s son Steve, weighed in with her own opinion as Edelman said Jordon Hudson was just doing her job as a public relations representative to chime in and shut down a question she or her boyfriend did not want to talk about.

Comedian Nikki Glaser agreed with Edelman and lamented that "people are out for blood."

"Publicists act in a professional manner and don’t ‘storm’ off set delaying an interview," Jen Belichick wrote in response to Glaser.

Jen Belichick referred to the TMZ Sports report in which claimed that Hudson delayed Bill Belichick’s interview with "CBS News Sunday Morning" for around 30 minutes because she allegedly "stormed" off set.

He's disinterested in discussing their personal lives and he believes, as the best coach in football history, someone would have interest in that aspect of his being.

BB maybe many things but when it comes to the media and their potential to distort, twist, and sensationalize topics at his expense, being naïve isn't one of them. He was ready. Maybe annoyed at the line of questioning, but ready.

I do believe CBS and the publisher talked about it and BB was informed. I think she was the one out of the loop and when it came time to talk about it prior to production and CBS told her everything is on the table that is when Bunny blew a gasket.

Of course they matter. They obviously don't matter as much as being the HC but to say they don't matter is completely writing off the work these guys did to accomplish what they did as coordinators.

And Bill's never made any claims to such things it's just made up in your mind.

All he's ever done is wear them to celebrate and updated the name of his boat and some info on his bios.

Typically they are fluff pieces. The network gets to brag they have so and so for an interview and fill a few minutes of air time while the guest gets to promote whatever it is they are selling. It doesn't typically go off the rails like this. Even if off the air Jordan was being an entitled princess it's still pretty messed up for CBS to go all TMZ.

I'm sorry but it seems like you haven't been paying attention to the media's direction the past 20 years. I too preferred it when the media conducted itself in a Cronkite like fashion but we are living in a TMZ world and have been for a while now.

He is very weird now. I get the whole hoodie look and just wanting to be himself BUT showing up for a nationally televised interview with a sweatshirt and a giant hole over the chest.
Clearly its not a great look for UNC’s brand.
He is now officially a p-whipped slob.

While I have enjoyed this new thing with Bill with a whiplash smile on my face, I am getting kind of bored with it. I feel like I am bound to point out that Bill is no longer the HC of the NEPs. It does seem that we are, collectively, chained to the past. I really think I need to throw some of you a rope so you can get thru the pain of Bill leaving and embrace the new regime. Now there's at least two new threads about Bill and the humiliation he is enduring on CBS and at UNC. I for one would rather be hogtied than keep submitting myself to more of this masochistic abuse.

Is that what the book is about, UNC football? I thought it was about the winning principles he learned over a lifetime of football.

I fear our once respected coach is veering towards a Charlie Sheen level of 'winning' now. It saddens me but I can't say it's surprising, BB was never exactly a standard bearer for moral rectitude. He's a great football coach not Mother Teresa and he never pretended to be.
