I promise you if you stop responding, you can just do what most of the people do on this board when they see these posts, and laugh. It's comical at this point. Some people just get their rocks off by being contrarian, has nothing to do with reality lol.

I know I need to be better and I know some of these guys are trolling but I can't help it the anger sharks start swimming in my head.

But yes of course a defensive minded guy is going to have people on offense that he relies on same as a strong offensive coach like Reid needs Spagnola and Chris Jones to balance the scales.

Weis and Josh were subpar HC’s without Bill. BOB also hasn’t won anything. Brady has. He isn’t just BB’s best player he was an offensive savant that you don’t see in the league from a player. Because of Brady’s input Bill’s defenses were better. And of course vice versa. Take Brady away and the hole that gets created is extremely hard to fix.

No member of the Patriots coaching staff during the dynasty ever had any success as an HC without Tom Brady on the team - especially Bill Belichick who, by all impartial accounts, has been a failure to such a level that absolutely no fanbase would tolerate.

I used to do the old crossword puzzle gag where the clue was “HC Belichick without Brady” and the answer was Jeff Fisher. I stopped doing that when it became clear that HC Belichick without Brady isn’t even that good.

I'll tell you what if you want to take the 19 best years away from Bill then it's only fair to do the same for any coach who you compare Bill too. Once you've done that assignment let me know the results. Bill won't be in first anymore but maybe the results will interesting and somehow useful. Or come up with some other fair comparison but you can't take years of Bill's career away from him and then compare him to other coaches without similar adjusting their stats or you're just completely messing up the math.

I’m telling you how Brady was a once in a lifetime offensive football savant/player that Bill was lucky enough to coach. Not just “his best player”.
