Paris Lenon? Let's see it.

46 must be a dead number around pro sports.

Just a bit surprised Jacoby Ellsbury wasn't even brought up.

With not one, but two linebackers on this list, our D should be fierce this year.

Assuming Paris makes the team.

SO that's 5 for the Patriots?

Brady, Welker, Moss, AD, and the iconic Paris Lenon?

Freeney made it over Seymour. Lame.

If author plans to update : I'd start looking for another #46 soon... Lenon may indeed make this team. But I'm certainly not betting my mortgage on it.

Must admit my surprise to see only one soccer player on the list taking into account how much of planet earth you have to stand out in to be considered a good player and the amount of endless talent you have to beat from every country. #8, #9 and #10 (Gerrard, Ronaldo and Messi) are so damn dominant at the highest level in their sport worldwide that absolutely nobody touches them, Ronaldo definately beats out Brees at #9, thats just plain shocking.

Other than those it's pretty straight forward....(Like I'd actualy have the patience to crawl through every sport and every man who wears each number..)

post of the night Nice to have the luxury of cutting players that are on a top 100 active athletes in sports list.
