The Best Patriot's Video on YouTube

This is possibly the best Patriot's video on YouTube.

Old timers like myself (I'm 54) will eat this up. Just so many great memories, both good and bad. Just amazing stuff. I love the history of the NFL, especially Patriot's history.

Joe Vincent makes the best Patriots videos on YouTube and no one comes close

That one is pretty good but long. And we're not old timers until we reach 60!

You're welcome. 1976 (I was 14) was my first playoff experience as a Pat's fan, and I was SO pissed off about that loss to the Raiders. What a ripoff, still pissed off 40 years later, because that was one of my favorite Pat's teams and I wanted a championship for them. They beat the LA Raiders on the way to the SB in the 85 season, but 25 years after 1976, the Pats finally got revenge on the Oakland Raiders and went on to WIN a SB.

In '76 I was 16 my first Reg Season & PO year with Pats. It was Sweet Revenge beating Raiders in Snow Bowl PO Game to start of off our run of SB Wins.

It was so great to see Grogan in person giving Jets all those beat downs in '70s,'80s.
Especially here in NY at Shea Stadium and when I see Grogan I can't believe how he remembers so many little things about those games. He even brought up to me when I think a Pat's Fan got killed at a game when they had a flying Snoopy Lawn Mower at half time.

I have the dvd of this great video. May want to record this before they take it down.

Might I add, so great to hear Gil and Gino on these highlights as well, brings back so many great memories. I can imagine him calling James White's game winning SB. "White is down, AND IN !" "Patriots win the Super Bowl, AGAIN !"

Funny you should mention that. I still have my 12" Vinyl Album (remember those)
of Spirited Patriots Of '76 Play By Play of all games that year called by Gil & Geno.

Yeah I saw that and said no thanks lol.. jesus
Nobody is forcing you to watch it. Some of us enjoy this stuff and can watch it in 30 minute intervals, or even one hour intervals.

This hype video posted prior to Super Bolw 51 was pretty cool too.....

Ok, spoiler alert, I'm the one who made it.

I'm an old timer, and though I remembered Grogan's teams just owning the Jets, I looked back and was stunned at some of the final scores in those games. Grogan's Pats consistently beat on the Jets like 41-7, 45-7, they eve had a 50 something to like 7 game against the Jets. Fun to know they suck so bad.

Yup, most were Blow Outs. Flea flicker bombs, bootlegs and I still have a few of those games on VHS some where boxed away and those games were called by Marv Albert. Marv was classic.

I was actually AT that lawnmower game at Shea (Pats lost). It wasn't a Snoopy lawnmower, it was a flying lawnmower though, and it took off straight down the middle of the field, took off, went through the uprights, and people were cheering. It was then that it made a crazy turn, I think the guy lost control, and crashed into the lower level killing a Pat's fan of all things. 90% Jet's fans, and kills a Pat's fan.

I saw several Jets/Pat's games at Shea, from 1978 on, mostly Pat's wins except that one. One game, Mike Haynes ran a pick six right in front of me. My first game at Foxboro was Sept 9th 1979, Pats beat the Jets 56-3. I was 16 going on 17 a month later, and it was a glorious moment. I was with my parents who were rooting for the Jets. Boy did I feel bad for them that day lol. But I was in Patriot's glory that day.

I wasn't at that lawn mower game, I remember I was sick and I saw it on TV. What a terrible, unfortunate incident. I went to a lot of games in NE back then when it was Schaffer/Sullivan/Foxboro Stadiums. Being from NY, I used to drag my friends up NE with me lol even thought one was Colts* fan (loved Bert Jones, BB just left as DC) and Cowboys, Steeler fans. When I see Grogan at his store time to time we talk about those games and I believe he said that his '78 team was loaded and was best team to win a SB but he knows he got robbed in '76.

Man that's awesome stuff. I had a buddy who had a Bert Jones jersey, even though he was a Cowboys fan. Where is Grogan's store ? I would love to meet the guy. Gonna be up in Boston next month on a mini vacation with family. Gonna be an expensive trip, gonna buy a lot of SB 51 stuff lol.

Yeah that '78 team was stacked. Had great drafts in 77 and 78, Stanley Morgan in 77 I believe along with CB Ray Clayborn and RB Horace Ivory.
