Just to keep it fresh

... some people here blaming the coordinators shows they simply do not know the process.

So here it is ... they win and lose as a team ... that much is apparent.

From the people breaking down film all the way to Bill himself.

A week inside the mind of the Patriots - The Boston Globe

Come on now.
Maroney is gone. You can only talk about the draft pick so much.
How do you expect to create a good strong mob mentality if there is no complaining about play calling?
How do you expect people to convince you how smart they are if they can't tell you they know what the problem is and that problem is the guy making decisions isnt as smart as they are???????????
Geez, nice board you would create, stuck in reality.

yeah that board would attract few people.

Of course they lose as a team, but if one part of that team is not functioning as well as the rest, then people shouldn't point it out? I don't see how anyone can look at this second half problem that goes back a couple of seasons and has reared it's ugly head this season, and not be concerned.

Completely agree. In fact, the very premise of this thread is strange. Hey look, the Patriots' coaching staff prepares for games! See?

It has nothing to do with a "mob mentality" that has people questioning the ongoing second half woes, but rather fans' attempts to analyze why it's happening. Obviously coaching would be part of that conversation.

Don't you know, it's everybody's fault why we can't make adjustments during games.

I don't think there's much excuse for the offense, as there's plenty of experience on that side of the ball. But with so many rookies and 2nd year players (and a couple 3rd year players) having such prominent roles on the defense, do you really expect the coaching staff to make drastic differences in gameplan midway? Is it wise to put that kind of mental pressure on young players in the second game of the season?

If it's still happening from game 9 on, I'll be concerned, because it could mean the young kids aren't progressing mentally as well as we'd like. But we knew this team would take some time to gel on defense. It just feels worse because it's the Jets.
