That Punt was HUGE

Agree 100%. although there were other "great" plays that contributed to the win this IMHO was the biggest. If Ravens get the ball back around the 40 or 50 yd line they only have to go 15 yrds for FG range. He puts them back at their 20, that is a huge game changing play. Absolutely play of the game.

You gotta also give credit to Ghost, he had a nice day as well. He was his usual self on kickoffs consistently kicking them into the end zone and then going 3-3 on FGs including the game winner. He was iced for the 2 minute warning, and then most people thought the Ravens would take another time out, but Ghost wasnt bothered by that and made the kick. He's had a tough start to the season and I think the pressure was on him to perform, and he definitely stepped it up yesterday

Agree with all of you. It is very satisfying when a player delivers exactly what the team needs most.

I mentioned this in another thread, but the earlier punt that Mesko managed to get off despite the fact that the snap bounced to him was also huge. Impressive day for both the kicker and the punter.

Anybody got a link for video of the punt? Also anybody know where there are extended highlights online? Thanks

Did you guys watch the Colts game?

Who do you want kicking for you? Vinatieri or Gost?

Is it just my imagination or are they allowing rookies to speak to the media? I was shocked to hear from Mesko after the game.

He was perfectly humble and thanked his teammates etc. but I recall that in the past the rookies were told not to speak because they were in their first year and didn't know anything anyway.

Policy change?
