OK. Never the less some of the fans there did not like him and thought he was lazy.

My son is a huge Raiders fan and said he got lazy, has no front teeth, and wasn't better than Gerard Warren.

Like Randy Moss?

Playing for the Raiders is probably the worst work environment in all of sports.

Sands doesnt seem to have much balance and he falls down a lot. If sand learns to play lower in his stance, he would be a solid nose tackle.

I like him as a pass rusher more than a run stuffer.

Interesting. Did you notice that during the game?

haha, are you serious. obviously they were separate trades, and the poster knew that...there were just a flurry of transactions, which when combined, look like the "blockbuster trade" he was talking about...wow, youre dense

Thank you.

Dang. There goes the plan for Sands to chew his way through the Denver o-line.

(Seriously, "has no front teeth"? Are we supposed to be concerned that he'll lose the Most Beautiful Defensive Tackle pageant?)

I also heard he wets the bed. Belichick should release him.

I don't really care what his smile looks like, but you'd think he'd go get that fixed. the NFL will pay for anything like that. He doesn't even have to pay for it out of the millions he's earned already.

You guys really need to put some effort into nicknaming people, for the love of poutine!

Me, I'm calling him Morla, and here's why (as well as the view from the QB position across from him...)

For those are too young to know what this is, it's a giant turtle.

The way people go on about Maroney around here all I can think of is the Neverending Story...

I'm sick of trying to figure out Maroney. The train will leave without him if he can't turn it around. End of story.

The problem is that he is the only high-level talent (not counting BJGE) in the backfield under the age of 32. I just hope the older guys hold up even though the approach is to spread out the carries amongst the stable of runners...

Ahahahaha... 6 points AND a 2 point conversion there.

I really think he has a mental block thing going...I have no basis on this but when people hurt a lot, they tend to not want to get hurt again. Just a thought.

They said on Mohegan Sun Sports Tonight show on Comcast that Maroney is in the wrong profession because he is scared and afraid to make contact...and that is about how most of us can sum up his pathetic career thus far.

I woudnt call it pathetic. He had a good rookie year in 06 and lead the team in rushing in 07 in a pass happy offense. Getting hurt last year was not his fault. He needs to find his mojo this year no question and live with the fact that he will get hit and be satisfied with a 2 yrd gain sometimes. Plus you look at Faulk, Taylor and Morris and they are ALWAYS falling forward and their pads are low. LoMo just doesnt do that consisitently enough. He thinks hes Eric ****erson or Eddie George. Problem is he isn't 230 lbs.

It that type of production what you would expect from a mid 1st round pick? I'd expected more. But he hasn't been pathetic.

Reggie Dupard was pathetic.
