Hayes, Gabriel, Jackson, Johnson, Nunn.... They all showed WR skills that the team could use. These are top level athletes, they're going to do that.

How those skills translate to real games is what matters, and Price hasn't shown anything yet. When/if he gets his chance, we'll begin to have truly legitimate information to base opinions on.

For clarity purposes, you're saying that what little you've seen from Price so far, you'd saying that he is no better than the above mentioned talent-wise?

Price will get his chance....it's nice to have the kind of depth the Pats have at WR........Edelman and Slater are WR/ST options so they have to be active on gameday....Brady spreads it around with Welker and Branch getting a majority of WR catches...Ocho will work his way into the mix soon enough.....with Gronk getting almost as many catches as the WR's there isn't much left over.....Hernandez is dinged so there will be more chances for others, be they Woodhead or someone else.....

I'm not giving up on Price so soon....I still think he'll be fine once he gets his shot.....he's shown flashes....

This is one of the dumbest threads I have seen here in many moons. The Pats have played probably the best 2 back to back passing games in the history of the nfl over the last 2 games. Now we have people saying we should take our best wide receiver and move him to special teams so we can bring in Price. We have posters who think Price will bring something extra special to the team so we should bench the special teams captain. All because this player who looked pretty good in 1 or 2 preseason games can play. Are you crazy or dumb?
