I agree 100%

I agree it's prb between Edelman and Tate. Edelman hasn't been able to stay healthy and you can't make the club from the tub. Some people thought maybe we would cut Slater and keep all the WR's, but Slater was once again the first man downfield on ST's and also made a nice catch. I think every team needs at least one guy like Slater.

I think Price is the more polished receiver. He was a full time receiver and part time return man at Ohio. Tate, was a returner extrodinaire at NC, and an above average receiver. I would like to keep both of them if possible, Branch, Welker and Ochocinco are no young pups, only have 2-3 years of high productabilty left (that's a guesstimation).
I dont understand your thinking here. Price played in a run oriented, nonprostyle offense in college. How is Tate return skills a negative about his college career?

I love what I saw from Price last night, but he needs to be able to do that against guys who will actually be on the field in the regular season.

ppl said price looked slow in TC. He doesn't have breakaway speed I admit that he however has nice early speed and is quick out of the gate I like this kid I have been rooting for him to usurp Tate. Check out my earlier post in how TP missed his first 4 weeks of training camp his rookie season b/c of a bogus graduation rule.
Can you do everyone a favor and drop the annoying video signature?

Branch is way better than Welker in 2 TE sets. Branch to the left, Ocho to the right. Welker off the field.
Keep banging that trash Welker drum, some day you might find someone to agree.

I've already found a few, actually. Being open-minded on an Internet forum never killed anybody.

I wanna see more Price this season, that's for damn sure.

Yup, Tate > Price.

Considering that Tate hasn't been battling a hamstring injury and STILL hasn't caught a pass says a lot. And that bump was completely unnecessary.

Tate has contributed on both KR and PR, with one return TD for the season. Considering how bad our KR has been, cutting Tate for no stats Price is another head scratcher. And no one asked about your opinion on my bump.

And Julian has a return for a td. What's your point?

Do you do anything other than b**** about this team? We're 8-3, we just blew out the Eagles in Philly, things are looking pretty good. Does this team ever bring you joy?

So Tate would have upgraded the kick return unit and been a good backup to Edelman as a punt returner. He had fallen behind Price as a WR, though. In fact, it seemed as though Tate regressed as a receiver from last season to this offseason. When was the last time Belichick kept a roster spot for a player who only returned kicks?

Yup, Tate > Price.

Get it right. Wallace > Tate. ^_^ 1 slot difference in picks!!

And hey Edelman plays a mean DB. And we need him. What is half the secondary out to injury already?

The only person getting upset is you. Are you talking about yourself?

I wouldn't have traded for Ocho. With that spot we'd have room for Tate. If nothing else, we'd have a better KO game.

How is a guy only returning kicks any worse than a guy that does nothing?

Because the guy who is currently doing nothing both has a legitimate excuse and the potential to ever contribute more than 1-5 snaps a game.
