It's easy, and only takes a few moments. There's this false narrative from sports analyst and social media that Tom's softI don't quite get this. Who thought he was "soft"? I don't recall opponents ever claiming that, or anyone else. Brady's toughness was obvious.
Remember when Tom dove over the line for the 1st (or was it a TD) in the AFCCG and Ray Lewis folded him in half? I legit thought he ended his career or broke his back. How many picks would have Peyton thrown with how badly the Giants hit him in 07?
Brady is also the all time leader in QB sneaks. He had guys like Ray Lewis trying to break him in half on those.
Rodney’s skirt comment didn’t help either. He should have known better than that. There's this false narrative from sports analyst and social media that Tom's soft
Yeah **** Rodney Harrison. He went from one of my favorite Patriots of all time to a punk ass ***** in five seconds flat.Rodney’s skirt comment didn’t help either. He should have known better than that.
I'm glad Tom's not doing the PC BS press conferences anymore. This is the real him and it might work out after all as a color commentator if he's himself.Remember when Tom dove over the line for the 1st (or was it a TD) in the AFCCG and Ray Lewis folded him in half? I legit thought he ended his career or broke his back.

It's the appearance that he begged for flags after
that and how you can not hit the qbs like they did in the pre-brady/pre-manning eraIt's the appearance that he begged for flags after

I was always impressed with the way Brady took hits to get some of his passes off, which is one of the things that Mac Jones seems to have issues with.I don't quite get this. Who thought he was "soft"? I don't recall opponents ever claiming that, or anyone else. Brady's toughness was obvious.
Until they became friends and Tom helped Suh get his ring, that is.I was always impressed with the way Brady took hits to get some of his passes off, which is one of the things that Mac Jones seems to have issues with.
There's a very good interview of Brady around here somewhere where he talks to an auditorium full of corporate people about some of the inside issues he had while playing. One he talked about was a hit he got from Suh that he got up from and said something like nice hit friend to Suh. Suh abruptly let him know that they weren't friends and Tom said how much he appreciated that attitude.
