What the hell is that in your sig photo? It looks like Dolph Lundgren's head photoshopped onto a woman's body.

Either a defensive player of the game day off or he's injured.
He didn't "risk injury" though, nor did he try to score a meaningless TD. He tried to keep the ball alive to run out the clock
He caught the ball with under a minute left and the Jets having no time outs, there's no benefit to keeping the ball alive at all.
No point in speculating on what he could be dealing with or how long he could be out hypothetically until the team dishes out any details via official injury reports.
Until stated otherwise, I expect to see Talib on the field Sunday against his old team.
The Tom Brady version of Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball". Click the YouTube link in his sig. It's actually pretty funny (if not very weird at the same time).
The fact that nothing has been reported yet could be a good sign. Then again, we were just alerted that Slater is out 4-6 weeks. If Talib isn't practicing tomorrow I'm assuming the worst. His leg collapsed when Mangold slammed him.
If we lose Talib I don't know how this team is going anywhere.

He may be right. I just saw it in another thread, they were going by a tweet from one of the beat writers.
Yeah, I don't buy into the whole "trying to run the clock out" thing, as much as we'd all like to believe that. I'm sure he was somewhat aware of the fact that the game was over no matter what, one way or the other.
The truth was likely that he was attempting to make a pick 6 TD return in a contract year.
He's a good football player talent-wise, but definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed in terms of sheer intelligence and decision making. That said, it doesn't excuse Mangold's actions either.
Oh, haven't seen it.
Why wouldn't he run with it? And if he could get it into the end zone, why wouldn't he? he played it safe and stayed near the sideline and went out of his own volition when he had no running lanes.
What, did he hurt the Jesters' feelings? it's the freaking NFL - he started running on instinct, and what DB wouldn't? THen he pulled up and danced to the sideline, saw a little running room and darted for it, then just hopped out of bounds.
THEN the idiot Mangold dove into his knees, and even if Mangold started his dive BEFORE Talib went out, he went for the knees. A clear cheap shot all around, by a guy who's made a career of it.
Talib didn't do anything wrong, and I'll take the two picks, thanks.
