Take a listen - proof there was no deception on controversial play

Furthermore, its simple numbers.

At least 7 on the OL with the 2 outside players being eligible WRs. That left Vereen stationary and Hooman free to go down field because he was last on the left end.

Likely usually everything returns back to the basics of fundamentals. Those facts right there are the fundamentals of offense.

The Ravens football players, who have been playing this game their entire lives should have known that fact regardless of if the refs explained it to them or not.

BTW, the idiot who put that out there is someone named Tony Lombardi. Here is his take of the game - - - as you can see by the exercpt I include here, I think he really is Lacey Noonan:

http://russellstreetreport.com/2015...an-fox/ravens-postseason-run-crashes-foxboro/

"....The adrenalin that ran through my veins and invigorated my body in a way that energy drinks could only dream of, had dried up. The tank was dry and left me with the emptiness that accompanies elimination."

Maybe TMZ can get Gilbert Gottfried to read some more of Baltimore Tony Lombardi's erotica.

Screw that. Anyone who has ever played football knows that there has to be 7 men on the LOS. The only ones who can catch the ball are the two players on the end on each side.

So even if the refs didn't make it clear who was ineligible, as knowledgeable football should know either way. However, it's even more embarrassing for the Ravens because the refs constantly made it very clear who was ineligible and they were too dumb to change anything.

If they only got fooled once, okay, they could be a little upset. But they got fooled 3 times in a row and refused to change anything up. Harbaugh got taken to the coaching woodshed there.

Pro-tip: If you are that confused. Call a timeout.
+1 - It's things like this that frustrate me about the NFL - how fans sometimes understand more about the game than the people who cover it - or coach it -
This may be TMI but here are the facts:
9:37 - 1st & 10 Pats 30
Formation: 4 OL - 6 numbers on field eligible - 34 declares inegible.
Result: 16yd completion to Hoomanawanui
8:23 1st & 10 Ravens 39
Formation: 4 OL - 6 numbers on field eligible - 34 declares inegible.
Result: 12yd completion to Edelman
7:23 - 2nd & 6 Ravens 24
Formation: 4 OL - 6 numbers on field eligible - 34 declares inegible.
Result: 14yd completion to Hoomanawanui.
Harbaugh throws a fit and gets Personal Foul
My questions:
1. How can the entire NBC crew not see any of this??????
They completely blew off the Harbaugh incident and didnt even bother to investigate after the fact.
2. Ravens had 2 minutes of game time and 7 plays to figure this out and thier entire coaching staff didnt see it.
3. No member of the media heard the PA announcer tell 70 htousand people 34 was ineligible or even bothered to do some research like we did before
writing critical articles??????????
I'm LOST

Looks like the media was lost also.....Harbaugh is a cry baby anyway...everyone in the stands knew this.

I like this take on that play:

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...triots-four-lineman-shell-game-unprecedented/

It’s clear (Harbaugh) believes the Patriots exploited a loophole that sufficiently confused the officials to allow the Patriots to sufficiently confuse the Ravens. While the loophole could be closed by the Competition Committee and then the owners, New England’s ability to identify and to capitalize on a little-known quirk in the rules perhaps should be regarded neither as dirty nor cheap but effective.
You mean Florio does not note that the guy whose offense is "throw it deep to get a flag" is complaining that someone is using the rules to his advantage?
