Surprise cuts this camp?

JJ Taylor cut by Texans

Since the thread is surprising cuts... i'll pick someone a bit outside the box. Pharms. Most have him solidly on, but if they decide his role is redundant he could be cut.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Chism, although I suspect that would lead to actual protests.

I would say this is my list. No real "surprises" out of that group so I would say Rhamondre would be a surprise cut to some extent. Last regime overpaid at a position you shouldn't pay. Ive seen people say he would be worth trading but I'd be shocked if we got much more than a 6th rounder.

Disagree. Running backs are the best value in football. The Eagles paid Saquon Barkley less than the Titans paid Calvin Ridley and he led them to a Lombardi. On the other hand dogshit wide receivers are getting 20 million + a season. What you should pay is good football players. I have been supportive of Wolf in general, but his biggest mistakes would have been getting what he wanted when he went after Ridley and Aiyuk, neither of whom were worth what he was willing to give up for them.

There has been a number of people here who have been adamant that Chism would not make the team, but for some reason they have suddenly gone completely silent about it.

If Chism really becomes a true slot threat in camp it could make pop expendable as a possible trade candidate.

Chism is making the 53, but I don’t think it will effect Douglas as they play the slot differently, and I think we will see both play there, and both play more outside given the match ups they are facing.

No surprises. Could see Jennings, Dugger cut or traded.

Baker to the PS or cut.

The O-line purge will include Sow, Robinson, Jacobs, Strange and Lowe.

I fully expect them to bring in another swing tackle/G after cut downs.

Connely to the PS.

I agree will all of this, we may see up to 3 new lineman brought in.
Jennings I hope makes it but I trust Vrabels evaluations.

How much we missed in the last 4 drafts at online and defense is laughable.
Dugger I don’t see anyway he suits up for the Patriots and is happy about his role.

I wanted to keep Baker but looking around the league more productive WRs will be available so it’s not pressing to keep trying to develop him,

Wolf missed so bad aside from Maye who is now showing accuracy and timing issues from college.

If Maye doesn’t pan out someone check on Eliot.
I noticed he was very quick to take the credit on Chism in his press conference.

???

From where do you expect to get these linemen?

Teams don't give up starting or backup OL's. We could sign Risner. Otherwise, what you see is what you get.

LINEMEN CLAIMED LAST YEAR
TACKLES - We claimed two of the three: Jacobs and Thomas. We won't get better than Jacobs.
GUARDS - None
CENTERS - None

IF Maye fails with Diggs - Pop Douglas and the overpriced H Henry it's on him. No Defense should be able to cover all three Consistently: and I didn't even mention T Henderson.

I feel Vrabel and Wolf will trade mid to late round picks to shore up the depth. And look at cuts from teams like the Eagles and Broncos.

They should keep him then, right? I mean, if the WR factory wants him... He must be really good. Isn't this where we start to covet the other team's WRs? Even tho he hasn't really left yet? I'm confused.

No, just thought it was an interesting Nugget.
And honestly part of me wants to see him on IR rather than admit he was a horrible pick.
