Mahomes has not played well against good defenses since Kareem Hunt was kicked off the team. He has a much harder time on longer drives (9+ plays). Not as accurate and miss throws from time to time. Without an RB option to throw to that can go 80 yards at any moment they are merely very good against good defenses. As the Pats have seen, they can still score from anywhere on the field but a D that executes tends to have success against them. Still plenty of time but so far it's played out as I expected.

Seriously. Begging for a penalty after sliding into a guy's leg is a bad look.

I've seen about 3, maybe 4 throws from Mahomes were as bad of passes he's ever made.
If you were to put a top 5-10 list of bad passes by him, almost half are from this game. Just some bad passes, poor decision/timing.

49ers can close this out with taking a few mins off the clock & 3 or good field position.
