Milton will be valuable for the next three years as Maye’s backup, starter as needed.

I don’t care that we got him in the 6th round.

He has outstanding physical talent and I want a return that provides at least as much value as Milton does.

A second round for me would be GREAT

An awful game to watch. Both teams didn't want to win and the energy felt lower than pre season.

The only report saying he was canned was by Ben Volin piggybacking off of the Mayo Fired tweet from Schefter. Bob Kraft said he hasn't fired anyone other than Mayo (at the moment).

This season was like groundhog day. Nothing has happened from the end of 2023 to now as they had the same players, same results and are in the same position they were after 2023. As long as I've been watching since the mid 90's, this has been the most wasted year as a Pats fan. Absolutely terrible.

I had more than one friend telling me how great Milton was after the game where the opposition actively tried to lose. Hopefully some GM is equally emotional. LOL

The next HC is going to be the most important decision for Bob since BB in 2000. If he doesn't get it right, Maye will not stay passed his rookie contract whether he's good or not.

After the last week Maye realized that Foxboro 2024 had turned into the NFL's version of Sodom and Gomorrah. He was afraid to look back in case he turned into a pillar of salt, LOL. Sometimes being a good leader is knowing when to stay silent. I am sure he was upset about something. Either getting taken out of the game, how things played out behind the scenes, was mad about Mayo or maybe happy that the coach was fired. Better to avoid saying something that he would regret later. I am eager to hear what he says in a few weeks.
