Not saying they should sign Suh, but they need some ***holes on defense. Way too many nice guys who tackle gracefully. It’s been a long time since seeing some violent hits on D.

That’s why I was hoping for Zach Cunningham last year. Freaking Vrabel.

Yes, we know. Wozzy posted about it yesterday, without the need for a new thread.

Also, it wasn’t a Pats-related visit.

Yeah, we could use Suh to step on Josh Allen's ankle.

BB was in Nashville....

Unrelated to Suh

Vrabels son plays OL and is in NE for a look.
Vrabel noted that Cunningham immediately gave his defense the edge it was missing.

Suh isn't violent, he's a cheap shot artist. There's a difference. I would hate to have him here.

He's certainly has had his cheap shots, but he occasionally had some violent tackles on QB's as well. However, he checks off as being an "azzhole". Point is, the D needs at least one dirty player or forces an offensive player to have his head on a swivel. Haven't had that for a long time.

And I just solved your crossword puzzle. Jeff Fisher? That's harsh.

No. The defense needs players who hit hard, not dirty players who step on ankles and hands well after the whistle.

So you must've hated Rodney Harrison then who had a horrible reputation as a dirty player.

Yeah I knew that was coming from someone who didn't know the difference between "hitting hard" and "step on ankles and hands well after the whistle." Point to me the instances where Harrison did these types of things:

I understand the difference you are talking about but it doesn't really matter when it happens. Rodney was penalized and suspended quite a bit. You can't "hit hard" and not get any penalties.

And the Jay Cutler push (shouldn't have been a penalty), Cutler sack (no penalty) and Rodgers push (no penalty) were laughable. In fact, those are the type of hits I'm talking about that rattles the opposition.
