Earthwind Moreland, Troy Brown, Randy Gay, and Hank Poteat were vital members of the 2004 secondary.

And yet somehow they managed to hold Peyton Manning to 3 points, where as the 2003 backfield kept the Colts to 24 in the season opener!

Bet you wish we had Randall Gay right now!

Antoine (sp) Smith was a vital member of the 2003 team.

2003 team squeaked by most of the time.

2004 team smoked teams!

Quite honestly, IN THE PLAYOFFS, 2005 could be the best of the bunch.
This is the best offense we have had.
The defense has played better since Dec 1 than any BB team of the past after 12/1. (And the others were excellent too)

IF, IF, IF the defense continues to play as it has in the last month and a half, the 2005 playoff season version of the Pats may be the best of the bunch.

If this be true ... we should win today handily.

The "consistency" question holds no fear. What Belicheck/Patriots team can you IMAGINE pulling a stinker in crunch time?
