Like where? The Commanders?

I'm not buying that any good teams were still in once the number got that high.
We know why he signed there now. The Colts just traded Pittman making Pierce their #1 WR.

Diggs is not at a good situation at all. I know he believes in himself immensely but this was not a time or period for him to be a free agent. If there is still a path for him to be back here. He should take it.

Inevitable?

It's interesting that Stefon Diggs is still unsigned. He's productive, proved he is recovered from injury, did a great job with a young QB and young WR room. There really are lots of landing spots for him at an affordable signing bonus and cap number. The legal problem looms large as this goes along. No one wants to commit guaranteed and signing bonus dollars until it's clear he will be available.

Surely teams should wait until the April 1st hearing,

Cap space is tightening as we speak though.... gotta wonder which teams in need will still have the flexibility to add $20 million plus by then, assuming this is what Diggs will get.

Short of sitting it out until the injury bug crops up in the pre-season might be a better way for him to maximize his value

I'd say the Pats should welcome him back at a cheap price but pride and ego likely won't allow that

Diggs isn't going to get anywhere near that.
He /should/, but he won't.
