Meh. Bulletin board material is overrated. Otherwise we would have destroyed the Jets in 2010, the Ravens in 2012, and not to mention the Giants in 2007 when they all dressed for a funeral coming off the plane. Or in 2011 when they trashed our secondary for 2 whole weeks.
Maybe and maybe not. Belichick has used bulletin board material before (Eagles SB parade). And don't think Brady hasn't used material presented by the media to up his game. Bulletin board material does play a role at times, even if the result doesn't pan out.

Ooohh, maybe just maybe they are half assing their prep for Jacksonville. That would be super funny

Hell and New England are ok to say but how does Haiti pop in his mind? He could just have easily said Austin, TX, Paris, France or Helena, Montana.

If he wanted to stick with the "H" alliteration, he could have gone with Hackensack or Hamtramck or Hialeah. Of course, "New England" ultimately blows up his whole poetic scheme.

it will seem like Hell to them, Ground Hog Day in Hell

Mitchell's rallying cry in the locker room: "We'll beat 'em in *hell*!"

Rest of team: "YEAAAAAHHH!"

Mitchell: "We'll beat 'em in *Haiti*!"

Rest of team: "YEAAAAAHHHHH!"

Mitchell: "We'll beat 'em in *New England*!"

Rest of team: <crickets><lone gulp>

Mitchell: "I said 'We'll beat 'em in NEW ENGLAND!!!'"

Rest of team: "YEAAAAAHHHHHH!"

Regards,
Chris

But the secondary was trash...o_O

Disagree completely. Did you ever play sports at a relatively competitive level?

The human element can never be discounted in sports, especially contact sports. Emotion and how to channel that is absolutely in play, good or bad.

We lost to the Jets, Ravens and Giants twice all for the exact same reason:

A sputtering and inconsistent offensive ideology.

It played better than the offensive side of the ball in Sb 46 (and the title game), including a very mediocre Brady.

Brady was putrid in the 2011 title game. He said it himself and should have said it after SB 46, instead of Giselle blaming others on the concourse.

To be fair, he said they'd beat the Patriots. He didn't say when...lol....

Brady started the game something like 18/22 with 2 TDs until he got sacked and hurt his shoulder. He broke the record for most consecutive completions in a Super bowl.

2009 team had no OC
2010 team had no OC
2011 team had O'Brien as OC
