The Chiefs are a joke.
I'm not so sure about this. I believe that they've improved upon their team from last year in a few different areas. Hopefully, you are right, but I'm expecting them to beat PIT and play in the AFCCG.

I voted for the Steelers, because Kansas City has the more well-rounded team and is far better coached with Andy Reid at the helm (clock-keeping blunders aside )

Truthfully, I don't know if the Steelers are all that dangerous if a team knows how to limit Le'Veon Bell or keep Antonio Brown out of the game.

I know that's not an easy thing to do, but there's no team that can out-scheme their opponents as well as the Patriots. Belichick is the master at taking away his opponents' primary strengths, and forcing you to beat him in other ways.

The Chiefs on the other hand, are more methodical, but can be just as explosive on offense. They also have a more disruptive defense that can pressure the quarterback and create turnovers.

The better-coached team with the superior defense, and has more offensive versatility....that's the team you hope to avoid playing if you're looking for an easier path to the Super Bowl

Alex Smith is good though at the one thing the Patriots D has struggled to consistently contain this season. And that's the short passing game. On average the Steelers are probably the better team, but I see more upset potential with the Chiefs.

Not to mention, Smith is a far more mobile quarterback compared to Roethlisberger. I think it's harder to contain him in the pocket

The Steelers are massively overrated. Yes, they've got two big hitters in Bell and Brown but that's all they have. They've got no-one else to throw to who can hurt us and their defense can't stop us.

Kansas is more unpredictable and harder to turn the ball over on.

Pats are better than both teams but I have to say I'd rather face checkdown Alex than Ben.
KC hasnt won anything so if theyre going to beat us, i rather see them move on more than pitt

I don't care who the Pats play in the next game or any other game.

If I had to pick a winner between Pitt and KC I'd pick KC. I think they're the better team.

True statement.

Even though Roeth has very good #s vs NE, I don't ever remember him really killing us like Manning did. It seems like hes always had fluffed up #s and rarely has he been THE factor for Pitt winning 3 of the 9 meetings he has QBd.

With that said I'd rather face Pitt than KC. I'll always take the team with the weaker defense but KCs offense is average.

I'd rather face the Steelers. They don't have much of a defense and Ben has shown a propensity to turn the ball over a little bit this season. They can score points but the Pats can too. KC has a better chance of stifling the Pats offense while featuring a smart and mobile quarterback that doesn't make many mistakes. They also play complimentary football in all three phases of the game. If it comes down to it, I'd rather the Pats hosted Pittsburgh.

Not sure what stats you're using , but Kansas City has a significantly bettter defense than Pittsburgh, in almost every major category aside from rushing yards allowed.

Check it out for yourself:

Agreed. I'd go as far as to say they've gotten better as a team, since losing last season in the Divisional round.

Arg...I screwed up. I meant to say I'd rather play Pitt and their D. I'll edit my post.

With that said I'm not high on KCs D either. I think they are ok but losing Johnson really hurts them in the run D. Good luck in Foxboro.

KC runs a similar defense to the Ravens and Jets.

The Pats have lost in the post season 3 times to this style of defense. Twice to the Ravens and once to the Jets. The gameplan is usually the same. Make Brady hold the ball longer than he wants and knock him down even if completes the pass. Flood the field with DBs taking away the short passes.

Give me Pittsburgh even with Ben and Bell.
