What if Belichick was the only one who prepared? It would be funny if it turned out coaches only pretended to watch film, game plan, install schemes, have practices etc., and Sunday football games were really just the players throwing together a pick up game every week and making it up as they go.
Sounds like they’re having a solid week of preparation
I think it was pretty clear throughout last season that Butler preps for the Patriots first and everyone else second. That said, his defense shut our asses down this year. Not sure we have room to talk.
Yea i mean they do get one over Brady once every 7 years so they were due for one, they came up with a good plan in 2011 too and kept him grounded for the most part. but most matchups with them result in massive breakdowns on d (2016 afcc with hogan destroying them and afterwards one of their safeties saying after the game they were caught off guard by stuff we were doing, 2015 season opener gronk running through their secondary without a defender within 20 yards of him).
True but that's still pretty ditzy.I think it was pretty clear throughout last season that Butler preps for the Patriots first and everyone else second. That said, his defense shut our asses down this year. Not sure we have room to talk.
Sure but just by watching film and reviewing scouting reports a coach should know if a player from the opposing team is on IR and has been since Sept. Its all a dog and pony show.
These coaches have to go out and build up the other team to the media. Its a high wire act. Any comment the least bit controversial is blown out of proportion in the pansy axx country we have today.
And I think they'll be in for at least one more stomping once the team re-tools.
