Well first off I do think the webpage and message board is great. This is where the best pats fans post and the board I check several times a day for breaking news. I love reading this board.

However look at some of these topics over the past few days.

I hope Brady asks for a trade.

That is only some of them. I understand people are upset that Kraft didn't want to get nuclear and sue the league and his fellow owners but some have lost their minds. These are the topics getting the most popular votes as well which at this point is the equivalent of being in a rock band playing a concern standing up on state yelling "No one rocks like the people of (current city name) People eat it up.

God forbid you stick up for Kraft or have a different view because the dislikes will rain down. I know it is the offseason and its slow but I this board has been rough the past week.

We are better than this and I cannot wait for the season to start so we can watch this franchise work toward getting ring #5.

Don't folks think it might be time to utilize the DeflateGate Forum again. I think we have all had our fill of this B.S. It would be nice to still have the option of talking about it, but maybe as a side topic. I want to see more discussion of the upcoming season and "real" Patriot news. I will still read up on DeflateGate or whatever we want to cal it, but these topics are dominating the board and it is getting a bit much.

Kraft is a coward and a traitor and deserves every negative post about him. I don't know how you could stick up for him or why you would want to.

Emotions are still high, and us fans feel betrayed. There has been nothing to take away that sting. Hopefully Brady will be successful in the appeal and give us fan some hope and leverage with dealing with other fans

While I really hate Kraft's decision, I agree that some of the reaction is over the top. However, this is a fan site. "Fan" derives from fanatic and the site is a reflection of this. Have no fear, though. This will get resolved, training camp and the season will soon be underway, and our fanaticism will be directed to events on the field.

We typically discuss the future of the franchise, and during training camp the prospects in the off season. The future of the franchise is that it is currently missing its best player for four games over an absurd investigation. The strange thing would be if we ignored this point when looking at the upcoming season.

Eh, I give Kraft until Round #1 of the 2016 draft before I judge anything, and the Benedict Arnold thing is a bit much. Kraft did not offer the capture of Washington (Brady) to the Brits (Goodell) and try to become a general for the Brits.

BTW, **** the Starbucks ad that makes the screen scroll up even though I'm down here. Ian should be congratulated for putting up with them.

I have suggested separating the deflate gate discussions. NO ONE wanted to do it. I suggested using the Draft Board for the vey few who wanted to have discussions other than deflate gate. NO ONE was interested.

OPTION 1
Use the Deflategate sub-board for discussions of deflategate. That won't happen. Folks have derailed the the Board, and folks who are interested in football check in once in awhile, if at all.

OPTION 2
Recognize the regular board has been hijacked. Have a sub-board for specialized discussion (football), as we have had in the past.

OPTION 3
Check in once in awhile or not bother until September.

I don't understand the question. The team could appeal, Kraft chose not to. Many teams have appealed their punishments, some have won.
