I really feel like the franchise doesn't owe me anything, but it's still sad to see how bad it is. They need to have a clean sweep and then attract the best possible people in the NFL to rebuild it, not the current Rod Rustian cluster eff there is on Route 1 today. Fire everyone, instead of waiting another year and ruining Maye and this opportunity they have now. If they foul this off season up and then fix it next year, they'll be 5-6 years further down the road before they can right the ship. The time to do it is now.
I think that Mayo will pretty much “be told” to sit Maye and start Milton to evaluate him, with an aura of “don’t worry bro this game isn’t gonna make or break your job security”. In reality it’s true, because they’ve probably already decided to keep or cut him.Another thread hijacked.
Yay Milton's starting!
It enures that Maye gets out of this season healthy, and we can at least catch a glimpse of the potential of Milton as a backup to Maye (especially with a sucky offense for which I won't hold him responsible for the outcome as he's had very little actual game time). Basically, a Win-Win. Especially if we loose and keep the #1 Pick (NO Travis Hunter please! Trade the pick and actually fill holes with solid if not better players for 2025 and beyond).Lets get the rookie some real game experience...
no ulterior motives here, no sireee bob kraft...
just some good old fashioned live action game experience for our future back up of the future...
more like it ensures we lose the game. which is much more important than squeezing out a meaningless 4th victory this year.It enures that Maye gets out of this season healthy, and we can at least catch a glimpse of the potential of Milton as a backup to Maye (especially with a sucky offense for which I won't hold him responsible for the outcome as he's had very little actual game time). That is a good problem to have.I like it. But, what if he does good?
His punt might be his best block of the season.I'd like to see Vederian Lowe as punter/kicker for game 17. Need to cross train these big fellas.
Baker will have 2nd/3rd degree burns on his hands from Milton fastballs.I wanna see a heavy emphasis on the Milton/Baker connection. Just work that thing.
I'm would be ok with McDaniels returning as OC he always impressed me. Certainly not as head coach though. Not up on Vrabel at all, we need to go forwards, not backwards.Yes!!!McDaniels still lives in Massachusetts. Does Brian B stay or does he join his father in UNC?
Yes, his HC days are all behind him.. besides he's made generations of wealth from HC opportunities he's had.. he would love to come in and work with Drake...I'm would be ok with McDaniels returning as OC he always impressed me. another "I was there" moment, perhaps? It would generate more interest in the game.

When maye was listed as questionable with a head injury that was a golden opportunity to shut him down for the season. But of course we trot him right back out there
That assumes the balls aren't all just sailing over the lighthouse, bound for Dorchester and places beyond.Baker will have 2nd/3rd degree burns on his hands from Milton fastballs.
