King has said he got it wrong, and apologized. He deserves to get hammered for waiting way too long to admit it once he knew, but at least he's done the mea culpa.

Mortensen, on the other hand, a man for whom I'd previously had great respect, is still too busy covering for his bosses and sources to do the honorable thing. I think it's safe to say that his credibility will never recover. He'll now always be just another Tomase.

Mortenson is worse than Tomase IMO...bigger audience. Same intransigent attitude however.
