Spikes to visit with 49ers

Free agent Takeo Spikes will visit with the 49ers on Thursday, according to NFL Network's Adam Schefter.

Spikes would likely move inside in San Francisco's 3-4 scheme and compete with Dontarrious Thomas, Jeff Ulbrich, and Brandon Moore at the TED spot.

Considering how much 4-3 they played last year, I'd be surprised if Spikes isgned there. Not enough spots.
