@FieldYates: From @AdamSchefter & me: the Patriots have signed free agent LB Brandon Spikes to a 1-year deal. Spikes spent the 2014 season Buffalo.

LOL can't believe he is back after those comments he made when left. New England wasn't so bad after all it seems.

Front seven seems formiddable.

Someone should photoshop the above pic with his face on it and change it to 1 year a slave and then get it out on twitter

The 'slave' is back.... waste.

Is that an open running back running across the flat I see?

4 years a slave wasn't enough Brandon?

If only I was home right now.... I'd go nuts with my photoshop skills....

Love it. Dude hits about as hard as anyone in the NFL. His run stuffing will help ease the loss of Vince and he adds great depth to the LB Corp. Might be too many starters and not enough STers out of the LB corp. Anyone remember if Spikes plays STs?

Good insurance for Hightower/Mayo not being ready for opening day. Also explains the Chekwa release a little bit (needed the roster spot).

POWWWWW

Love the signing. He doesn't have to be on the field in obvious passing situations and does nothing but bolster the run defense. Welcome back, Spikes.

What a deep linebacking corps we would have.

More proof BB doesn't hold grudges. I think BB would take back Wes even if he wanted him.
