Any idea if his LVR contract had offset language? If so wouldn't really make anymore plus all the BS that everyone else alluded to above.

There's no chance JM is leaving in the next three years. Zero.

McD's contract has the same offset language as just about any other HC jobs. His remaining LVR salary is deducted whatever he is paid in any new coaching job he takes.

Organizations are well aware what happened with McDaniels recently in Vegas. He'd continue to be out of the league had it not been for Vrabel. This is just McCourty doing McDaniels a solid, but Arizona will not hire him nor should McDaniels want the job. He'd get fired within 2 years. Also, Josh isn't going to bail on Vrabel like that after one year.

McDaniels would have gotten an OC job whether Vrabel hired him or not. He’s had too much success developing QBs that someone would have given him a job.

Why would Josh leave all those FREE Bologna Sammiches, to go and have to pay for pork and beans in ARI?
Just doesn't make sense....O, there's also that Bidwell thing...

I thought JM was saying he would not be leaving again…I’d be shocked if he did this and very pissed….again. If he does do it, he needs to announce it AFTER their run. Honestly I cannot see any team picking him up again as a HC. But for him to do it again, would sting more than the last time. I can’t imagine anything other than $ and a major fracture in the system/relationships with ownership causing this though. /crossing fingers that it doesn’t happen…again.

Are we really gonna act surprised if he does get another HC job?

He's young enough for owners to believe he's learned from his previous jobs and he's shown he can quickly develop QBs (Mac and Drake).

I hope he doesn't leave but would not be surprised.

Surprised, no…pissed yes. The real question to ask is if/when he leaves and craters wherever he goes, is RK dumb enough to take him back? I’d put my $$ on yes…

two wildly unsuccessful stints as HC, fired midseason both times...

you really think he gets a third shot so soon after the raiders debacle?

I wouldn't be surprised it he's at least -offered- another HC job, but I can't see it being this year, and I'm SURE he isn't going to the Cardinals.

I don't think he should but developing a young QB is the holy grail for teams.

i think if there was any real interest out there we would have heard about it by now, above and beyond the speculation in the OP of this thread...

Here’s hoping.

Let’s see these slots get filled.
On a side note if Lafluer gets fired they are making a mistake.

Just needs someone to help him with game management.
But he’s a excellent play designer/caller.

Unless there is an outstanding candidate ready to step in, they would be better to stay the course with LaFleur

nice catch

After what happened in Denver with Hillis, it's hard to imagine Josh leaving a place where nobody is trying to **** his wife.

******** speculation, he won't leave anytime soon, surely not for Arizona

That depends upon a head coach or GM being willing to run Erhardt Perkins knowing that if MacDaniels was fired they would be hard pressed to find a replacement. There are very few offensive coordinators running E-P.
