has anyone seen a compilation, or compiled a series of videos, of plays where gronk gets mauled and gets no call?

I would, but Youtube wouldn't allow a video that included every single patriot offense snap that included gronk, due to length restrictions

Lets see....what would be longer?
  • Non-calls of DPI/Illegal Contact vs Gronk
  • Star Wars (8 movies)
  • Fast & Furious (8 movies)
  • Complete Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson Catalogue
  • Dean Martin Roasts
  • Entire episodes of MASH

send me a few....lol......will help with a facebook argument!

Guess I need to amend my statment
he's a lawyer. from idaho. and a steeler fan. and not really much of a man to begin with.

showing him to be wrong is way fun.
Who's the more foolish, the fool or the one who follows the fool argues with a Steelers fan?

Best of Luck.
You've already won. You're a Patriot fan.

It's a tough topic to pin down realistically. For example, we could start with all of Gronk's calls or non calls which may approach 80 various plays but to compare that with five or ten other TE's (not to mention big bodied WR's) will require analyzing all of their plays.

Objectively I would not want to pick and choose plays to compare.

So should be fun when done but will definitely take awhile.

I could start with just the called penalties but that is really just scratching the bottom of the barrel and doesn't accurately frame the issue.

I was thinking the Pats should send a compilation to the league every week. Include the phantom offensive pass intereference penalties every time he changes direction off the line.

They should change the name of offensive pass intereference and just call it a Gronk, since he's the only one in the league ever called for it.

"Gronk, 15 yards."

That's actually a project I started. It will take awhile to put together.
Availability is more important than ability (Edelman). I mean, it's better to have something out there.

Sure. I meant looking at how referees treat each player in regards to calls and non calls.

They probably already do that, Gronks a beast and they're going to treat him different. Hope it changes but don't have my hopes up.

here's one of the more infamous ones

I actually get pissed off everytime I see that. Plus, everyone should know that Kuechly does that sh*t all the time (or at least he did when I watched other teams more regularly; also, I know there are probably a lot of Kuechly fans here given his college roots).

You're right, but there should be a limit. On the other hand, he needs to learn to punish these defenders without getting caught so he can get open. Also needs to stop putting his hands out before he breaks, because he gets called if his hands are within a yard of defender.

He should seriously should engage a mixed marshall arts trainer and come up with some stealth techniques to bust these guys without getting caught like stomping on feet, well placed knee, while the refs are looking at contact above the waist.

That's actually an interesting idea.
