There have been so many Pats-based rule changes recently it's hard to keep up with them all.

I actually thought that there were times where Dustin Vaughn (Dallas preseason QB) showed something as a downfield pocket passer, so it was interesting to see him brought in for a look today. He's obviously very raw, but I wouldn't be shocked to find out that Belichick saw the framework of someone he can work with, in terms of a PS spot.

Then again, we don't exactly need that type of QB on the PS--so who knows?

Yeah, I definitely agree with you that it would be nice to see another QB added to the PS. If they feel that a developmental prospect like Vaughn is worth bringing in, it could prove to be a nice move.
