The article was an interesting read but obviously the conclusion that the Pats avoid penalties (and draw opponents into them) by being the smartest and hardest working kid in the class is flawed. The author drew that conclusion based on information or interviews involving a dozen or so different sources. That seems impressive but what's a fistful of people's reasonable and considered first person thoughts and experiences compared to the 10's of thousands of dedicated Pats haters who just know the fix is in and Kraft has all the officials in his pocket?
