I think that Bennett will get a ring, I'm pretty sure I saw him on the field last night. Along with Hightower (who looks like he could play in two weeks).
I also think that Bennett will be a Patriot next year, and that once the comp picks are announced, it is going to be determined, that by claiming Bennett and having him on the active roster on through week #10, he will count as a free agent lost, and he will garner the Pats a fourth or fifth round comp pick. Most have speculated that because GB cut him after week 8 and before week 10, he won't count towards a comp pick. I think the Pats know the rules and if he gets claimed and plays through week 10, he still counts as a loss for the Pats (and a gain for GB).
Because it is the only logical reason for the Pats to have claimed him, and IR him after week 10 without any signs of an additional injury. I think they made a deal with Bennett knowing full well the comp pick rules to suit up for a week. Bennett still gets paid and he is under contract for next year.
