So... the NFL lied. It WAS a sting operation.

Don't forget

@SharksOfVegas
You guys were weeks ahead with the investigation being about the refs. Great stuff.

Does anyone know or heard of the basis on which Grigson notified the league of their concerns about the footballs before the game.
Given that the league stated that the results and facts will be made public at the conclusion of the Wells investigation, I would expect to find out who Grigson notified, on what basis and what the NFL official who was notified did with this information (Blandino stated that he was not aware of any pre-game concerns).

The irony for me at least is the intent of the initial leak to Kravitz was to vilify the Patriots and yet every conflicting report now points the spotlight on the league office.

It also goes to show you how powerful these "sourced reports" are and how clearly it shows the pre-bias of the "reporters" who break these reports and/or the sources themselves for which we will never know.

A good example of this is from Kravitz' explanation for running with the story in the first place:

Honestly, when I spoke to my source for the story, I originally thought it sounded outlandish, far-fetched.

And then, like a thunderbolt of enlightenment, it occurred to me:

Bill Belichick.

Of course.

In other words, if Kravitz had heard the same story about, say, John Fox or John Harbaugh, he might have kept digging to get more information and additional sources.[/quote]

The NFL: national fibbing league

The issue of over-compensation for CEOs has now spread to sports, universities, charities and other host organisms.

ah-HA! I got it! You're referring to parasites! Sad that greed has spread so far and so long. Meanwhile, everyone else is just a minion.

As Raylan Givens says, "Wonderful things can happen when you sow seeds of distrust in a garden of @ssholes."
Write that down.
