If I were BB, I'd seriously be thinking of maxizing what I can get for Moss right about now. I also prefered the no name WR's we used to have back in the day. Moss is fantastic but maybe not the Patriot way, too high profile. I miss the Troy Brown WR crew.

I'd LOVE to trade Moss for a package of lb, wr's, man, our secndary sucked but who do you replace? Definately need at least one better CB..

It's ironic that many people bemoaned McDaniels for years and now that he's gone we're missing him a lot more than we missed Charlie (who I was also a big fan of).

This is a dumb post. what we learned yesterday that moss and wes can be shutdown by rushing 3 and dropping 8 in coverage.

they single covered rb and the 3rd receiver effectively using 5 guys to take moss and wes out.

IN such a case you need a 3rd wr who can catch doh. we have edelman and stanback both never played WR and are learning - projects. Aiken was never integrated into the offence till week 5 and it shows.

Add gaffney and the offence would have been dynamic or just have aiken take the snaps from training camp we would ahve had different results.

you cannot win wit 2 great WR and a QB.

The sad thing is the offense isn't even "coordinated"; forget the playcalling but the number of false starts, confused motions late, delay of games is downright embarrassing to those of us who have watched over the Belichick years - which is most people here, of course.

Needs on offense:
1) Tough WR specializing in mid routes...force safeties to cover more of the field and take pressure off Moss
2) A stout center that doesn't get "blowed up". Koppen has been my punching bag the last 4 games. NGs are shoving him backwards which busts up Brady's footwork. Brady as a pocket passer is the best, Brady passing on the move is subpar...check out his 1st half pick.
3) Rethink the TE position. As a passing target, this position gets ignored until crunch time, when Watson becomes the down the middle threat. Baker may be the least athletic TE I've ever seen.
4) An agility coach for Brady....tongue in cheek...but the guy becomes a subpar QB when he throws on the run. Watching guys like Brees and Favre roll out and still maintain their accuracy adds a dimension to their offense that the Pats will never have.

My wish list if the team could dress 55 players.

A) A speedy midget RB with catching skills that could turn the corner or take the swing pass wide. Defensive ends have little worry about containing the edge vs the Pats.
Have you seen the 175 lb RB out of Arkansas?
B) An offensive guard that is a run specialist. A big ass bowling ball that will help this team close out games on the ground.
C) Corey Dillon's spawn

1 WR who can catch. I think aiken can be that guy but man bb screwed the pooch by not putting in their from week5. They need to spend wednesday everyweek intergrating him and stanback to run basic routes.

This thread is ridiculous. Moss played well last night-- Brady missed him early. And I sure as heck wouldn't trade Brady either.

Our playcalling sucks right now and Brady is either still showing signs of rust OR the coaching isn't covering what he should be looking for on the field. Either way, these 2 are not an issue on the team.
