In general I like the Sporting News - they tend to avoid sensationalism and often have some pretty decent analysis - but I have found it disappointing that they continue to use Tomase for coverage on the Pats. If nothing else, they should go back to Felger, Tomase's predecessor at TSN. I really wish they'd use Reiss or Gaspar instead. Considering Tomase's credibility is shot, and the additional work required for the writer is minimal, it makes me wonder if the Globe doesn't allow this type of 'outside' work (part of the WEEI-Globe fallout)?
