So in theory Cordarelle Patterson would be taking Bademosi's spot as gunner then with Slater sticking around, and Patterson also will be the kick returner who can play some wide receiver although that role is likely limited here. I'll say this, I'd be stunned if the Pats don't have the best special teams unit in the league next year.

Now on to the offense and defense.....

Had Patterson actually been a gunner for any team? EDIT: Just saw MG's link about Patterson being a gunner when he played for the Vinkings.

I know that Brandon King and Jonathan Jones were the gunners when Slater was injured.. Bademosi saw time there when King was out and when Jones went down. But not otherwise..
