Slater as WR?

Slater as a WR is a non-starter. But the OP raises an entirely appropriate note of desperation about the position. It will surprise nobody if Dobson and Amendola are DNP today and doubtful or out on Sunday. Martin was limited last week and has not played in more than a month. We are looking then at two relatively healthy WRs: LaFell and Harper. And LaFell has been working his way back to 100% and took a seat behind Dobson on Sunday, while Harper trails Slater in NFL receptions (none and one). The WR cupboard is bare. The Eagles just promoted former Patriot Krause from PS to roster, possibly to counter an offer from the Pats. But while roster moves could be in the offing, it is difficult to see anyone coming in and providing short term help.
