Just wondering, coming off an afful, injury marred year, and the Skins acquiring both Randel El and Brandon Lloyd, and the Skins teetering close to the cap, could David Patten be eventually released in DC?

According to NFL.com add Fauria to that receiving corps.

Moss, Patten, Randle-El, and Lloyd. Now all the Skins need is a quarterback.

Sounds logical to me.

But that would be too easy.

We're supposed to be panicking about WRs right now.

That's an EXCELLENT observation. At this point I'd be shocked if Washington DOESN'T release Patten. And he'd be a decent stop-gap, considering the losses of Givens and Davis. Interesting possibility.

i would be extremely surprised if patten is released
at this time in his career randal-el and lloyd are both better than him, so it makes sense
i would def pick him back up if im the pats

should we re-start the thread - "no way..

Patten makes this team.."

IIRC that was one of the historic posts for number of responses on this board.
