Should we trade for Jalen Ramsey? [Update: traded to Pittsburgh]

Miami has to trade him so the price should be right. Vrabels defense plays on average 3.5+ corners per snap. We would have the best secondary in the NFL by both talent and depth.
If I am reading over the cap correctly it looks like he would cost 10 mill this year and 18 next, with 0 dead money if cut.
Thoughts?

$50m dead cap in 2025. I’d restructure if I were the Fish. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/_/id/18953/jalen-ramsey

Fish are dumping salary they know we are better.

And the Steelers are going after every aging star they can.

Aaron Rodgers DK Metcalf, Jalen Ramsey, Darius Slay, Robert Woods, and Jim Thorpe.

This moves strengthens that Pittsburgh D if Rodgers can get his groove back, is anyone counting Pitt out?

They have not has a losing record since Tomlin has been the coach. That D is old.. but good. Adding another old CB...

So Fitzpatrick for Ramsey Jonnu and a 7th,

I will always hold Jonnu in high regard.
He was a beast with Vrabel

Pittsburgh has always had solid teams. We kicked the **** out of them because they were spooked by Brady and their defense was a paper towel against him. But they could be one of the toughest if not the toughest homegames this year.

The fact he isn't trade now is telling. Teams don't want to take on that contract. He asked to be traded to Miami he may as well stay there
Pittsburgh took him and gave him a raise.

You would rather have young poor ones?
You calling Gonzalez, Carlton Davis, Marcus Jones and potentially Miles Battle “poor” is laughable.

Ramsey is old as dirt. I’ll bet the Steelers want him to replace Fitzpatrick at safety.

What the hell is wrong with the current NFL? Teams slowed down Hill and Waddle last year because they couldn't run the football. Now the get rid of a player that had career year and who was a perfect outlet for that offense. Then they get rid of their best CB on a defense that is mediocre at best.

I'm seeing a really bad trend of teams getting worse, but thinking they miraculously going to be better the following season.

Pats are finishing no worse than 2nd in the division and this will be McDaniel's last season in Miami.
