Why do people listen to sport talk radio and expect to get real sport talk?
Especially in the Boston market, where it is the absolute suck.
Very little valid and valuable information can actually be gleaned; these guys care about ratings and generating calls, nothing else. Honest information doesn't generate that, nonsense and controversy does.
Seriously, in between the occasional (sport talk radio induced) hysteria that appears here, most of the takes, even the ones I don't always agree with, are better informed and more football oriented than anything I hear on the radio or read in the Boston based print media.
