    No feckin way I trade #23 + one of our 6th-rounders for only 40 + 57...unless a 2021 Day 2 pick is also included...

Predicting where the 33 best remaining NFL free agents will land Predicting where the 33 best remaining NFL free agents will...

Behind a pay wall, but if you don’t have The Athletic already it’s well worth the money, IMO.

    Kamalei Correa, Edge, Titans (26)
    Signs with: New England Patriots

“The Patriots lost Jamie Collins and Kyle Van Noy and could use an athletic, versatile linebacker. Correa earned a larger role down the stretch last season and had seven sacks in the Titans’ final 11 games, including the playoffs.”

Correa is the only player that they predict will go to the Patriots. I forgot about him. He does seem like a patriot type free-agent pickup. They predict Wolfe to the Chiefs and Shelby Harris to the Titans, neither of which would make me happy.

Biggest Potential Bargains in 2020 NFL Free Agency

“Like several bargain-bin options, Kamalei Correa had limited roles in previous seasons. Aside from his 2016 rookie term, he's avoided injury but served as a backup. The Boise State product has started 13 out of 54 contests.

The Baltimore Ravens selected Correa in the second round of the 2016 draft, but he didn't make an impact until arriving in Tennessee via trade. Over the last two years with the Titans, the 6'3", 241-pound edge-rusher has 8.5 sacks—the third-most on the team in that span.

During the 2019-20 campaign, Correa found his pass-rushing groove down the stretch, registering at least one sack in six of his last eight games, which accounts for postseason action. Even more telling, the Titans increased his snap count on defense between Week 17 and the AFC Championship Game.

With more time on the field, Correa showed he could apply pocket pressure and finish the job with sacks. The fourth-year veteran's production has yet to match his second-round draft pedigree, but he's worth a modest deal for his contributions on the edge.

Although he profiles as a situational defender, Correa could become a solid component to a fierce pass rush. He played 39 percent of the snaps on defense in 2019. If the high-motor pocket-pusher sees an uptick in play count, we could see him reach new statistical highs.”

I think Ruiz and Cush are top 40-50 picks. Wouldn't be shocked if the Cowboys or someone grabbed a little sooner. I have 2nd on Hennessey.

Regarding the bolded, it's really no different from any other draft.

    5-15 really good players. Then there's not a huge difference between 15/20 & 50.

    Then after the 4th it's a crapshoot.

I don't few this one different.

there are only about 15-16 guys in this draft that I have a first round grade on in this draft.
But the next 50 guys all have really similar grades.

plan a works if bb is targeting an important position like qb or edge rusher and he sees an opportunity to get that player!

plan b works if bb has identified some players in the next 50 that can contribute in our scheme and make our team better!

It’s all about how the draft plays out, is every year,

Yeah cousin maybe I jumped the gun a bit on turning down that trade, because in your case we get to keep all of our 3rd-rounders, whereas in one particular example...
    PFN Mock Draft Simulator
...we have to trade both 23 + 98 to Indy (so they can draft Justin Herbert) for #s 34 + 44...

It may be time to get the Giants on the phone and determine the price for Engram. Given his inability to stay healthy over the past years, they may be able to get him at a reasonable price. It would be a risk for the patriots as well, of course, but the upside is substantial. It seems wise to give a young quarterback a high quality receiving option at tight end, as a safety valve.

Evan Engram Trade Rumors: Giants to Test Market, Don't Think TE Can Stay Healthy

I would give up one of our compensatory 3rd and maybe a 5th year that turns into a 4th if he is active for at least 13 games? With the anticipated compensation picks for 2021, the Pats could afford it.

I agree with you. If he stays healthy he can be dynamic.

I don't do twitter. Who isn't included in the $1.785M of available cap room? Is Calhoun? OTC seems close at $1.442M without Calhoun. Obviously Miguel is the best. OTC often is missing something. But they are close.

I didn't vet the article but it makes sense.
Either extend him or trade him and I believe Thuney falls under the sams umbrella
